Winifred Ullemeyer

CHAPEL HILL- Mrs. Winifred Ledel Ullemeyer, 99, died Saturday, July 21, 2012 in Hospice at the Meadowlands. Mrs. Ullemeyer was born on June 19, 1913 in Cleveland, OH to the late Louis and Nellie Lawson Ledel. She was the widow of the late Martin H. Ullemeyer She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and was a retired Sales clerk with Sears & Roebuck. She is survived by her daughter: Margaret Lee of Chapel Hill: her son: David Ullemeyer of Ohio; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 pm Tuesday, July 24th at Walker's Funeral Home in Chapel Hill. Mass will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church. Interment will be in Ohio at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Charles House Association, 109 Hillcrest Avenue, Carrboro, NC 27510 Walker's Funeral Home of Chapel Hill, 120 W. Franklin St., Chapel Hill is assisting the Ullemeyer family.
