Wilma Howdle

Pittsboro - Mrs. Wilma Chapman Howdle, age 67, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at The Arbor of Galloway Ridge in Pittsboro, NC. Wilma was born in Alma, Michigan to William and Maxine Lentz Chapman. After graduating from Michigan State University, she worked as a Certified Public Accountant and later retired from Perkin-Elmer Corporation of Norwalk, CT. Following her retirement, Wilma and her husband, Tom, moved to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Three years ago, Wilma and Tom moved to Galloway Ridge in Fearrington Village, Pittsboro. Surviving is her husband, Tom; brothers, William Chapman of Frankenmuth, MI and Dale Chapman of Reese, MI; sisters, Patricia Birkes of Saugatuck, MI and Colleen Grazioli of Canton, MI; and many nieces and nephews.
