William Mangum
January 31, 1924 — December 30, 2013
William Goodson Mangum Chapel Hill Artist and professor William Goodson Mangum of Chapel Hill passed away peacefully on December 30, 2013. Surviving relatives include his wife, Ariana Mangum of Chapel Hill; five children, Margaret Ariana Mangum, William Preston Mangum, Alice Mangum Perry, Laura Mangum Wissa, and Grace Elizabeth Mangum; and granddaughter, Celia. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home in Chapel Hill.
