Wayne Lambert

MEBANE - Mr. Wayne Sherrill Lambert, 75, of Mebane, died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Hospice at the Meadowlands following a brief illness. Mr. Lambert was born on March 31, 1937 in Stanly County, NC, son of the late Richard Boone Lambert, Sr. and Ruby Bowers Lambert. He was a US Army veteran and a retired Pipefitter. Surviving is his wife: Linda Florence Lambert; sons: Randy Lambert and Brandon A. Mott; daughters: Sheila Marie Jones, Paula Terrell, Louise Zolorzano, and Nina Baker Hernandez; brother: Richard Boone Lambert, Jr.; 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Paul L. Baker. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 21, 2012 at Walker's Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to8:30 PM, Thursday, September 20th at Walker's Funeral Home. Walker's Funeral Home of Mebane, 304 W.
