Walker's Funeral Home, Inc. Mebane - Mr. Roland Richard Best died Friday, November 15, 2013. He was a native of Pennsylvania where he attended school. He was employed by Electric Materials. Surviving are his wife, Susan Nichols Best, three sons: Matthew J. Best, Tyler S. Best, and Tucker A. Best (Makayla); five daughters: Pamela B. Dragar, Patty B. Tackett (Dave), Audra B. Medlin (David), Vicki B. Miller (Seth), and Tracy B. Bowman (Brandon); five brothers; three sisters; 15 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. H was predeceased by his parents, Edward H. and Frances S. Best, four brothers, and two sisters. The service will be held 3 PM Monday in Walker's Funeral Home of Mebane.
