HILLSBOROUGH - Mr. Rodney Joe Cook, 67, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013, in his home. He was a native of Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Arkansas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.. He retired from Duke Medical Center. Surviving are his wife, Cheryl Z. Franklin Cook, two sons: Zachary Cook (Amanda), Durham, and Joseph Cook, Pittsboro; two step-sons: Scott Franklin (Lori), Pittsboro, and Jeffery Franklin (Monica), Hillsborough. He was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and Joe Cook and two brothers: Mark Cook and Andy Mackey.
