Paul cherished travel and relished every opportunity to explore the world, especially while sharing great trips with his nephews. He found joy in nurturing connections with loved ones and building rich memories through shared adventures. Time spent by his swimming pool provided him with endless enjoyment, as did the harmonies of song and music—another of his greatest delights. Paul was a dedicated member of Duke Chapel, lending his voice to the choir and enriching services with his love of singing. He was also a member of the Schley Grange, reflecting his strong sense of community involvement and fellowship.

Paul’s legacy is one of warmth, amiability, and a sincere zest for life. Those who knew him remember not only his talents and passions but also the generosity and joy he brought to every gathering. His memory will be forever cherished by those whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his brother Carl Wilson, special friend Jim Koch and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings.

The funeral service will be held at Walkers Funeral Home Chapel in Hillsborough, Wednesday June 24th at 11:00am. The family will gather one hour prior to the service. The burial will be private at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
