Nola Mcbroom

Nola K McBroom, 90, of Hurdle Mills NC, passed away peacefully at home on May 2, 2018. Nola was born in Elkins, West Virginia to the late Mr & Mrs Denzel Kesling on March 16, 1928. She worked at Eaton Corp in Roxboro, NC, until she retired. Nola is survived by her daughter, Linda Riley of Rougemont; son, Jerry Miller (Chris) of Hurdle Mills; step-son, Ralph McBroom (Cassandra) of Hurdle Mills; step-daughter, Nancy Moore of Hurdle Mills; nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McBroom is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas McBroom; son, Tommy Miller; step daughter; Kathy McBroom; brothers Ray Kesling, Carl Kesling and Leo Kesling and sister Jean Vanscoy. A funeral service was held at Little River Presbyterian Church at 4211 Little River Church Road Hurdle Mills NC on Friday May 4, 2018 at 3:00 pm with Reverend Ernest Ferrell officiating. Burial followed at Little River Presbyterian Church. .
