Milorad Stojanovic

Milorad Stojanovic , 77, of durham NC, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on September 21st from cardiac arrest.

Milorad was born on May 10th 1946 in Belgrade , Serbia. Milorad graduated from University of Belgrade school of Electrical Engineering with a major in Nuclear Physics.

In 1977, Milorad met Mirjana. Milorad and Mirjana went on to have two children, Darin and Darjana . In 1993 he sold all his possessions and courageously moved his family to Canada for a better life. In 1997, the family relocated to North Carolina where he continued his career at RTI until his retirement in 2021. Post retirement Milorad spent his time gardening , reading and his favorite bread making.

He is survived by wife ,Mirjana , son and daughter ,Darin and Darjana.

Services will be held at Maplewood Cemetery on September 29th at 11am.
