Margie Blalock Crabtree Wrenn

Margie Blalock Crabtree Wrenn, age 94, of Hillsborough, NC was born August 8, 1931 in Alamance County, NC to Florence and Ethel Blalock and passed away peacefully at Cambridge Assisted Living in Pittsboro, NC on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

Margie was an avid member of the Hillsborough Church of God for many years. She played piano, the organ and the accordion, sang in the choir, was an SS teacher and sang with a quartet. Margie enjoyed reading her Bible, visiting friends, doing word search puzzles and playing games on the computer.

Margie married the love of her life, Robert Linwood Crabtree, in 1952 and they spent many wonderful years together before his passing in 1987. She remarried some years later to Lester Wrenn, whom she cared very deeply for before his passing in 2001.

Margie is survived by grandson, Bradley (Ashley) Crabtree; 3 great-grandchildren; nephew, Morris (Sherry) Crabtree; and many other nieces and nephews.Margie is preceded in death by husbands: Robert Linwood Crabtree and Lester Wrenn; son, Tracy Crabtree; nephews: Wayne Crabtree, Johnny Crabtree, Mark Crabtree and Darrin Wrenn; brother, David Blalock; and special friend, Georgene Wagner.
