Margaret (Peggy) Durham Wall

Margaret (Peggy) Durham Wall passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025 at home with the people she loved most by her side. One of 5 children born to Carl and Margaret Durham of Chapel Hill; she was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Celia Murray of Saratoga Springs, NY, Sue Sessler of Asheville NC, brother Carl Jr (Buddy) of Willmington, NC and son Bradley Wall. She was married to Joe T Wall of Lilesville NC for 52 years and had 4 children.

She is survived by 3 children; Peggy Wall Turner of Greensboro, NC, Joe Wall of Charlotte NC, Dede Leftwich of Greenville, SC and her youngest sister, Anne Novak of Cary and also 6 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was a beloved daughter, aunt and cousin, sister, mother, mother in law, grandmother (Biggie) and great grandmother.

Known for her kindness and sense of humor, she was loved by all who met or knew her and will be missed beyond measure. A service will be held at Antioch Baptist Church in White Cross on June 7th at 1:00
