Kenneth Earl Born

Mr. Kenneth Earl Born, 78, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Hospice Home in Burlington. Kenneth was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 8, 1947, the son of the late Earl Bradley Born and Edna Cash Born. As a young child he moved to Carthage, North Carolina, where he grew up. He served proudly in the US Army and was stationed in the Washington, DC area. He enjoyed a successful career as a real estate broker, first with Cushman & Wakefield, later opening his own business, Born Commercial.

Ken was a “people-person”. He remained active in church activities at Mebane United Methodist Church as long as his health allowed. He was also a big supporter of Eastern Alamance High School sports and enjoyed attending their games.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Tate Born, of the home; son, Ken Born, Jr., of Warrenton, Va; granddaughter Charlotte Born of Warrenton, Va; step-son Michael Morrison, Jr., and his wife, Kristin, of Jacksonville, Fl.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
