Julia Elizabeth Cole

Julia Elizabeth Cole, age 74 of Rougemont, NC, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025, at her home in Rougemont.

Born on June 5, 1950, in Wakefield, Virginia to William Mac Cole and Minnie Harriett Rutland Cole who predeceased her in 1980 and 2005 respectively. She was married to George Sylvan Burger who predeceased her in 2023. Surviving relative is her sister Deborah Cole Turck and her husband Frederick Turck.

Julia worked for 30 years as a psychiatric nurse for most of the years at Duke University Hospital.
