Hillsborough - Ms. Joyce Faye Barbee, 53, died Wednesday, September 2, 2015, in UNC Hospitals. Surviving are her mother, Edith Lucille Davis Barbee, three brothers: Kenny Barbee and wife Linda, Ronnie Barbee and Jerry Barbee, two sisters: Jean Cannada and husband Lester and Dodie Denson and husband Bo, and special niece, Debra Cannada. She was predeceased by her father, Julian Willis Barbee. The graveside service will be held 1 PM Saturday at Mt. Herman Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Rich Goodier. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday in Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough. A special thank you to Dr. Stephen Tilley in the care of Joyce.
