Jordan Paige Horn, 33 of Chapel Hill, NC concluded her journey here on earth and initiated her eternal journey in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 17, 2026.

Jordan embraced Christian beliefs starting at a young age at Bedford Church of the Nazarene in Lambertville, MI. A strong youth program included annual trips to LifeFest in Oshkosh, WI, and mission trips to Aiken, SC and Joplin, MO during high school. In college she traveled on missions to Thailand.
Jordan graduated from Bedford High School in Temperance, MI, received a BA in Psychology from Olivet Nazarene University, a Master’s in Child Life from Eastern Carolina University in Greenville, NC, and was pursuing an MBA at UNC Wilmington.
She developed interest in the Child Life Specialist field during college, and enjoyed four summers on staff at Victory Junction, a specialized camp for Children with challenging health circumstances. She started as a general counselor and advanced to Team Leader gaining valuable leadership experience and contacts in the Child Life and medical communities.
Upon completing her master’s degree, she accepted a position as a Child Life Specialist at Marshfield Children’s Hospital in Marshfield, WI. She later accepted a position as a Child Life Specialist at the University of North Carolina Children’s hospital and was most recently a Supervisor in the Mental Health Department at UNC.
Jordan enjoyed working with others in servant capacities. She taught Child Life classes at Merideth College in Raleigh, and served on staff in the Children’s department at the Chapel in the Pines in Chapel Hill. She enjoyed vacations at the beach, any form of arts and crafts, spending time with family members, playing video games over the internet with Cruz, and trying to keep up with her pound puppy, Jane.
She immensely enjoyed the last months of her earthly journey with James (Jimmy) Ledbetter of Greenville. Jimmy is an Advanced EMT, and teaches EMT classes at Beaufort County Community College. He is truly her Knight in Shining Armor. Jordan and Jimmy enjoyed each other’s company and excelled in humbly serving others in their careers.
