John Edward Wolf of Hillsborough, North Carolina died February 23, 2017 at the age of 88 in his home surrounded by his family. He is survived by Marianne, his wife of 59 years, his daughters, Frances Wolf Harris (William Harris), Suzanne Wolf Jonson (William Jonson), and Caroline Wolf Packard, his son John Richter Wolf (Deanna Wolf), 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. His funeral Mass will be Friday, March 3rd at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
