HILLSBOROUGH - Mr. Jimmy Franklin Connor, 70, died November 20, 2012, in Alamance Health Care Center. He was a loving companion, a solid rock for his family and a friend to all. He enjoyed fishing and eating out. He served in the US Army and Navy. Surviving are his companion, Linda K. Holcomb, his children: Rene and Kenny Fish, Chris and Karen Connor, Joanna and Greg Wright, Mary Connor, Doug and Judy Connor, and Vickie Holcomb; grandchildren: Natasha and Lydel Mintz, Whitney Connor, Miranda Connor, Houston Connor, Jessica Connor, Jada Jones, Riley Jones, Zackery Henson, Xavier Henson, and Courtney Fish; two great grandchildren: Isaiah Mintz and Karson Mintz and special care givers: Billy Triplett, Martha King, and Maria Rojas. He was predeceased by grandson, Corey Fish, brother, Jerry Conner, and parents: Louise Wiggins Connor and Frank C. Connor. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday in Bethel Baptist Church by the Rev. Donald Cason. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
