Herbert C Keeter

Mr. Herbert C. Keeter passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at his home in Hillsborough at the age of 84. Herbert was born in Lumberton , North Carolina on August 9, 1935 to the late Thomas Calvin and Ada Mae Keeter. He worked for many years at the Efland Hosiery Mill and was a very active member at his church. Herbert is survived by his wife Faye Sykes Keeter; his children, Emma Rickman (Dusty), Herbert Keeter, Jr. (Denise), Earl Keeter (Deana), Chris Keeter (Tanya), Belinda Peters (Stephen), Lacey Keeter, Rhonda Smith (Gene), Ronnie Conklin, Jr., Kenneth Conklin; his brother, William Keeter (Wanda); his sisters, Evelyn Medlin (David), Bernice Riley (Ken), Beatrice Pleasants (Gerald), twenty eight grandchildren and twenty four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Efland United Methodist Church Cemetery. Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough is assisting the Keeter family.
