Grace Wright

Grace Marie Riley Wright, 88, of Hillsborough passed away at home on December 6, 2014. She was born October 20, 1926 to the late Henry and Maude Viola Rice Riley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John William Wright and son Tony Wright. Grace was a faithful Christian and member of Wayside Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was full of kindness and compassion. Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Tim Wright of Chapel Hill, Ted Wright and his wife Joy of Hillsborough, Terry Wright and his wife Sherry of Hurdle Mills; sister, Martha Murray of Hillsborough; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Service will be 11 AM Tuesday, December 9 at Walker's Funeral Home, Hillsborough with Pastor Bobby Tate and Pastor Gilbert Morrow officiating. Burial will follow at Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, Mebane. Friends may call from 6 - 8 PM Monday, December 8 at the funeral home and at other times at Grace's home in Hillsborough. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Grace's faithful caregivers Karen Locklear and Sharon Thomas, as well as, to Alamance Hospice.
