His broken English accent with a touch of southern charm was one that could make you laugh out loud and his children would love to tease him about. He spent the past 43 years alongside his partner and love Teresa Terry of Hillsborough, NC, and his extended family who he loved and adored, Teresa’s mother Mary Terry, and her brother Frank and his wife Feddie, and their 2 children Nicky and James who were Joe’s godson’s.
Joe spent his final week on earth surrounded by his entire family in New York before heading home to North Carolina on Sunday night. He arrived back to North Carolina and went to sleep peacefully as God took his hand and welcomed him home.
