Genia Cannada

Hillsborough - Mrs. Genia Bell Whitted Cannada, 82, died Friday, September 13, 2013. She was a native of Orange County and attended the Orange County Schools. She owned and operated Genia's Grill. She was a member of the Voice of God Among You Ministers and Hillsborough Moose Lodge for 38 years. Surviving are her daughter, Linda Nipper (Robert), Concord; three sons: James Lester Cannada (Jean), Durham, Harold Wayne Cannada (Dale), Winston-Salem, and Johnny Craven Cannada (Janice), Efland; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 sons, Winford Cannada and Richard Cannada, and her husband, Charles Cannada. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel by Johnny and Wayne Cannada. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
