Mr. Franklin Delano Whitfield passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the age of 88. A more complete obituary will be posted when available. A visitation will be on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Walker's Funeral Home in Hillsborough. Funeral services will be at Moravia Moravian Church located at 2920 Oak Ridge Rd, Oak Ridge, NC 27310 with a second visitation one hour prior to the service. Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough is honored to assist the Whitfield family.
