Frances Walker

Hillsborough - Mrs. Frances Walker, 83, died Monday, July 20, 2015. She was born in Orange County and attended the Orange County schools. She was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. She was employed at White Furniture Company and later owned her own business Frances Cleaning Service for 30 years. Surviving are her four daughters: Bonnie Carneal, Ida F. Chambers, Linda Chambers Jones, and Penny Chambers Bryant, one sister, Doris Finley, 11 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Leola and Edmond Walker, one son, Benjamin Marshall Chambers, her sister, Alene Walker, and three brothers: Jimmy Walker, Cecil Walker, and Oscar Walker. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Chambers Family Cemetery, Person County. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday night in the funeral home.
