Drena Worth

Drena Worth was born May 21st, 1940 in Centralia, Illinois and died March 12th, 2026 at Carolina Meadows in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Drena’s father was a career army officer whose service spanned three wars, including distinguished combat in WW2 Germany. She graduated in journalism, from UNC in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. All of which led to her founding her own real estate firm with help from her husband, Sandy. She had started in journalism. Her two careers took place in the US, Asia and Europe. It was a full and varied life. Although challenged early by Polio, then many years by Parkinson’s, Drena was a joyful person and made life happier for everyone she knew. They include her “steps” and her “grands” -William, Thibault and “Zing,” Izzy and Pepper.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
