Dortch Bass Smith was born on February 5, 1952 and passed on January 27, 2022.
She was predeceased by her husband Clarence "Chief" Smith, her mother Annie Bass Downey, father Larry Bass, step-father Zack Downey, step-mother Gladys Bass and brother Ronald Bass.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Billy and Lisa Smith, step daughter Sandra Woods, grandsons Dylan Smith and Colton Smith and sister Cynthia Bass.
A viewing will be held at Walker's Funeral Home in Hillsborough, NC on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and cremation will follow. The family reguest that everybody wear mask for the visitation.
