Dorothy Hicks Riley
April 22, 1932 — August 31, 2025
Dorothy Riley, 93, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025. She was a native of Hillsborough, North Carolina and was a longtime member of the Eno Methodist Church where she served the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Coy and Sara Hicks; sister, Hazel Syma; brothers, Kenneth and Donald Hicks.
She is survived by her son Joe Riley (Donna), and daughter Stephanie Riley West (Jim), her granddaughters Sabrina Hewlin (Adam), Katrina Gates (Bryant), Jennifer Logue, step-grandson Chris West (Piper), her great grandchildren Bryce Logue, Addisyn Logue, Alaina Falzone, Connor Gates, Jake Gates, and Emma Gates, her brother Bill Hicks, and sister-in-law Pauline Hicks.
A memorial service honoring Dorothy’s life will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Eno Methodist Church (Eno House) Hillsborough, North Carolina.
