Donald Yonavjak

Don was an independent photographer, videographer ​and media producer who, among a number of other projects, produced dozens of videos about environmental and social issues facing the people of North Carolina. ​He was one of the founders of the local public access TV station, The Peoples Channel. Don was a very creative mind who was always encouraging people to think beyond what was in front of them and come up with innovative solutions to advance society. He was a cherished member of the community and a beloved father. He passed away at the age of 66​ but ​will live on in the memor​ies​ of all who knew and loved him.
