Donald Whitaker
September 24, 1937 — March 2, 2018
Donald R. Whitaker, 80, of Burlington, NC, passed away at his home on March 2, 2018. Don spent his professional life in education, teaching in the NC public schools for many years. After retirement, he pursued his hobby of building and flying model airplanes. Don is survived by one sister, two nephews, and several cousins. Funeral services were private. Walker's Funeral Home of Chapel Hill is assisting the Whitaker family.
