David Booker

David Wayne Booker, best known as "Booker," died unexpectedly at his home. Born in Mississippi in July 1959, he lived in Hillsborough his entire life and worked at Daniel Boone Shell for over 35 years. David is survived by his mother, Esther Booker of Hillsborough; brother Daniel Booker of Albuquerque, NM; and sisters Martha Rose and Elizabeth Fell of Hillsborough. he was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Robert S. Booker. A memorial service was held at 2 pm, Saturday, February 16th at Hillsborough United Methodist Church, 130 W. Tryon Street, Hillsborough. Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough is assisting the family with arrangements.
