David Bennett

Chapel Hill - Mr. "Buck" David Bruce Bennett, 72, died Sunday, October 18, 2015, in his daughter's home in Snow Camp. He was born in Lubeck, West Virginia and graduated from Lubeck High School. He served in the U.S. Army 101 Airborne and later in the Green Beret. He was a mechanic, electrician and truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving are two daughters: Lillian Meador and Victoria Peace, one son, Othel Bennett, one sister, Karen Brown, one brother, Erine Merrill, and 11 grandchildren.
