Daisy Sue Rawle

Daisy Sue Rawle, was born March 28, 1943, in Lexington, Georgia to S. C. Eberhart and Odell Williams. She was called from this life to her eternal home on Tuesday October 14, 2025.

Daisy spent her early years in Liberty City, Florida growing up amongst her extended family of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. She was a member of the Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Miami Florida and a choir member.

As a adult she moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and lived with her cousin Mamie Nichols who has preceded her in death. She then moved to Bronx, New York where she met Milton Eden A. Rawle Sr. at Monroe Business Institute. They wed on April 23,1970. Milton Eden A. Rawle Jr., who has preceded her in death was born on June 4, 1970, in the Bronx. They then moved to Queens Village, NY and Jennifer Rymell Rawle was born on 12/29/1975. They divorced on February 28, 1980.

She began her driving career with Hertz Rental Car, being a transporter prior to the birth of Jennifer from 1972 to 1982. She then became a CDL bus driver for the Mineola School District in Nassau County New York from 1982 to 1985. She went on to drive the shuttle bus for the City College of New York in Harlem, NY from 1985 to 1995. She returned to the Mineola School District as a bus driver from 1995 to 1998 when she retired. She moved to Miramar, Florida where she did security at Parkway Regional Hospital from 7/1998 to 6/2000. She then returned to driving for Broward County School District from 9/1999 to 4/2010 when she retired. She acquired her GED in May of 1999. She then drove for the Little Rascals Academy from 4/2010 to 1/2015 when she officially retired completely.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, brothers Jeff, Melvin and Bobby Louis Eberhart, Sister-in-Law Jeannie Eberhart, son Milton Eden A. Rawle Jr., Father-in-law Artland J. Rawle and Mother-in-law Alice Allen.

She moved to Raleigh North Carolina in March of 2015 to be closer to her daughter due to some health issues. She moved to Chapel Hill, NC with her daughter, who became her caregiver in September 2016. Even though her health declined she still was dedicated to her love of crocheting blankets and scarves for friends, family and neighbors. She enjoyed doing search for word puzzles and going on scenic drives with Jennifer. She had a beautiful smile that was recognized by all that encountered her.

Daisy leaves to cherish her loving memories to her loving daughter Jennifer Rawle, her granddaughter Ija M. Rawle, her daughter in law Keisha Rawle, Ex husband Milton Eden A. Rawle Sr., Sister-in-Law Millicent Rawle, and nephew Gareth Rawle-Deidrick, future son in law Carlos Bowen and a host of cousins, other relatives, and countless friends.
