Cheryl Lynn Cook Blackard

Cheryl Lynn Cook Blackard, age 60, died peacefully on August 03, 2020 after a battle with cancer. She was a graduate of Person County High School, and served 30+ years as a guidance secretary at Bartlett Yancey Senior High School. She is survived by her parents, Raymond and Sally Cook, her brother and sister-in-law Jeff and Gail Cook (their children Bonnie and Preston Cook), sons and daughter-in-laws Joey and Ashely Blackard and George and Gigi Blackard, and her highly regarded grandchildren, Landon, Willow, Annily, Mackenzie and Holden. All are welcome to attend Graveside services at Red House Presbyterian Church on Saturday August 08, 2020 at 11am. Family will be accepting visitors at Cheryl's Home following the service. Cheryl kindly asked in lieu of flowers please make donations to Red House Presbyterian Church and Liberty Hospice Services. Walker’s Funeral Home of Mebane is serving the Blackard Family.
