Pittsboro Mr. Billy C. Merritt 72, died on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at his home. He is survived by his wife Betty Jean, grandsons, Shawn and wife Jessica, Christopher Cox and one great grandson, Colton Cox all of Sanford, NC. Funeral sevices will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Walker's Funeral Home Chapel, 120 W. Franklin St. Chapel Hill, NC at 2:00 PM. Family will greet friends 1 hour prior at the funeral home. Interment will immediatly follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery, 1721 Legion Rd. Chapel Hill, NC. Online condolences may be made at www.walkersfuneralservice.com Walker's Funeral Home in Chapel Hill is assisting the Merritt family.
