Mrs. Betty Lee Payne, 84 of Mebane, passed on Friday, March 29th at Duke University Hospital. Betty was the wife of the late Jack Turner Payne. She preceded in death by her parents Basil and Beulah Worley. She is survived by her daughter Judy Davis of Mebane. A memorial service will be held in Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD, on Thursday, April 11th at 2:30pm. Walker’s Funeral Home and Crematory are entrusted with the care of Betty Payne.
