Bettie Liza Scott, 86, passed away on January 7, 2016. She was born in Orange County, NC on November 25, 1929 to the late Bettie Walton Scott and Elbridge Gus Scott. In addition to her parents Bettie was preceded in death by brothers, Rupert Scott, Eugene Scott, Tate Scott, Clyde Scott, Monroe Scott, and Gus Scott. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, Mebane with Pastor Jack Colenda officiating. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 PM Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough.
