Barbara Satterfield

Hillsborough - Mrs. Barbara Norton Satterfield, daughter of the late Ezekiel Norton, Sr. and Sara Palmer Norton, was born October 10, 1944, in New York, NY. She entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 6, 2013. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. She was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to many. Mrs. Satterfield was educated in the public schools in New York, NY, and was last employed with the New York City Police Headquarters. Barbara left in sunshine of life to forever cherish her fond and loving memory is the father of her children, James Satterfield of Durham, her daughter, Yvell Simmons and husband Eric of Hillsborough, her son, Darrel D. Satterfield of New York, NY, sisters, Sandra A. Richardson of Queens, NY, Marilyn Norton of New Orleans, LA, and Phyllis Norton of Bronx, NY, God Mother, Albertha Thomas of New York, NY,seven grandchildren, one step granddaughter, and 3 step great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
