HILLSBOROUGH -. Barbara Ann King, 74, died Friday, November 1, 2013. She was an Orange County native and attended the Orange County schools. She was employed by BVD in Carrboro/Mebane. She was a loving person who cared for many nieces and nephews and extended family. Surviving are two sisters: Marie King, Hillsborough, and Sylvia K. Kernodle, Durham; one brother, Rodney King (Doris), Mebane; nieces and nephews: Elaine, Buddy, Tommy, Dale, Tyra, Jimmy, Chris, Shane, Daniel, Alex, Austin, Colton, Taylor, Hunter, and Hayley. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Hillsborough Town Cemetery.
