Agnes (Angie) Helena Berry-Soares was born July 1, 1952 in Benscreek, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Michael Joseph Sady and Agnes Scoran Sady.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gilbert Soares of Efland, North Carolina and one son, Matthew Berry, wife Audrey Berry and granddaughter, Emma Marie Berry.

She is also survived by her brothers Edward Sady, Stephen Sady, Richard Sady, and Francis (Frank) Sady and wife Janet. Preceded in death by sister-in law Lois Sady in addition to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Also, by her step-son Timothy Soares, his wife Cara and grandchildren, Luke, and Sydney Soares.

Step-Daughter, Patti and husband Bryon Allred and grandchildren, Tyler and David Fraser, Brent and Taylor Allred, Kyle and Emily Allred. Along with four great grandchildren: Krastyn, Amelia, Callum, and Colsen.

Step-Daughter, Tina and Michael Tetreault and grandson, Nathanial.

Step-Daughter Diana Dollar and grandchildren Brandon and Brianna Andrew, and great granddaughter, Blazelynn Andrew. Step-Daughter, Teresa and husband Randy Dearr grandchildren, Greyson and wife Sarah Dearr , Grandson Charles and wife Jenna Dearr, and grandsons, James and Jacob Dearr, granddaughter Isabella Dearr, Annamarie and Shival Patel, along with three great grandchildren, Rebecca Dearr, Cole Dearr and Olivia Patel. Step-Son-in-law James Kearney and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Tiffney Kearney, and her brother Michael Sandy.

Angie enjoyed spending time with her extended family, traveling with her beloved husband, Gil, attending Bible studies, and enjoyed nature and working in her flower beds.


In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lamb’s Chapel’s Outreach Program in her memory.

A Memorial service will be held on May 28th, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Lamb’s Chapel (Airport Campus) 3539 Alamance Road, Burlington, North Carolina
