Mr. Albert Edward Smith, 85, husband of Bette German Smith, died Friday morning in Chapel Hill. A memorial service is being arranged, with a time and date to be announced. A full obituary is forthcoming. The Smith family is under the care of Walker's Funeral Home of Chapel Hill.
